Martha's Vineyard wedding

Adam and Jamie had a gorgeous wedding in Martha's Vineyard...
They exchanged vows during an intimate ceremony, surrounded by thirty-six lucky guests.
They printed sweatshirts as favors...

And had an old-fashioned clambake, followed by pies from a local baker. How fun is that? (And a wedding dress with a lobster bib is pretty awesome.)

  16. Yum! I'm completely in the mood for crab now (and it's not even 10am yet!). I love simple sweet weddings like this. All the details are so thoughtful! I've been trying to take a few hours off of my course work every week to work on my little bud of a wedding invitation business. I just did a post about my first try. Perhaps after graduation, I'll be able to make my mark! Happy Friday!

  35. i love how everything about the wedding was uniquely about the special duo ... makes it so much more special and memorable when it's all about the love (and it doesn't hurt to have a super cool bride unafraid to wear a lobster bib!)

  39. Everytime you post these, I wish I had some clever pics of my husband & I. Sitting on the couch wearing sweatpants, sleep deprived, covered in spit up was sum of our engagement :) But it's something to build on right? AND- I wouldn't have changed that time for anything, of course.

  40. I love when people go for the un-traditional and it's a soaring success, the clambake idea sounds like a fun way ice-breaker for your guests who may not know each other.

  41. This looks lovely and so intimate. It makes me want a coastal wedding (I'm already married though so that could be awkward) and makes me really hungry for lobster!

  57. This looks like a wedding that was fun for everyone; the wedding party AND the guests, which is so hard to pull off. I guess keeping it (super) small really helps-you have so many more options. The bride is completely adorable and I love what the groom is wearing...but, ah, he could have used a hairbrush (just sayin)

  58. I absolutely adore this wedding! I wanted to have a clambake for ours, but the only beaches on the island where we got married are public parks. It's ironic, because the island is the world's largest producer of farmed clams!
