  24. Love her in Annie Hall and Something's gotta give. I relate more to her character in the former, light-hearted, young, and aloof. Is there a perfect adjective for that stage in life?

  25. I would suggest folks read Maureen Dowd's column on the death of the grown-up romantic comedy. I agree with her. The young guy who wrote the bestseller on making of Bfast at Tiffany's gave an interview to her...I posted on it but that's not why I'm writing this...he mentions Annie Hall & how much it affected him. That is a grownup romantic comedy. Thanks for the poster link. You can see Maureen's column on...let me find the date....OK, 3 August 2010. Called "Tragedy of Comedy."

Some of us older ladies (I said 'older! not 'old'!) really hope our younger sisters will consider some sort of a movement to bring them back. (Perhaps a boycott of stupid current ones?)

Thanks, Joanna & good weekend to all.

Man, this is one hideous illustration. Come on Jo, don't give us this at the end of the week! We want to see some talent! Forget that this movie is everyone's favorite, imagine this is some movie that isn't everyone's favorite with the same illustration skill level: Would you post it? NO!

Someone, please do a better version and show us what it's like to have talent and taste.
