Have a lovely weekend.

My darlings, what are you doing this weekend? Alex and I are going out to a romantic dinner tonight, and I'm excited to put on lipstick and dress up. What are you up to this weekend? Meanwhile, here are a few great posts from around the web this week...

Vintage brides.

Obama's thoughts on marriage.

Cute family photo.

Steve McQueen goes shopping.

Lovely snowy photos taken by a new mom (2am, 6am, 8am).

Stripey photo-booth backdrop.

Valentine pretties, including this rad heart cake!

And, finally, some of my favorite bedtime baby things for Beso (along with a photo of sleepy, sleepy Toby:).

Uh, that heart cake looks divine, but also complex. I think I would start with good intentions, then decide that the red wasn't necessary and eat the red batter, because what else would I do with it? I rarely make cookies or cakes because of my serious love for batter...not really safe huh? Have an awesome weekend as well!

I'm drinking red wine tonight and recovering from having my car keys stolen this week, and tomorrow I'm spending time with my sweet baby niece!

And Joanna, I think you need to set me up with you friend who writes that precious tumblr for his future wife.

Because I think she might be me.

Hi Joanna,

I have been lurking for some time now, and am so overwhelmed by the number of comments that you get that I was almost inclined not to write.

But, that does seem silly, as I'm sure that you would appreciate a message letting you know how much I *adore* your blog.

I'm planning to move to NYC later this year, and can't wait to read your blog with a local lens over the top of the already delightful posts.

All the best,
Poppy
