If you want to thank a guy or send a gift to a man, but you know he's not the flowers-and-chocolate type, you can now send meat and beer! Thanks Bro is a funny new online shop that will deliver a six pack (think: Dogfish Head, Lagunitas) and fancy beef jerky. What a brilliant idea.

haha this is great!
ReplyDeletewhy didn't I think of this before.
*head- desk*

So funny! I took my boyfriend bungee jumping for his birthday this year! So fun :)
ReplyDeletePIECE OF CAKE. PEACE OF MIND.
perfect timing, most of the men on my christmas list still have a big question mark next to their names.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome idea!! Will definitely use this at some point! Thanks for sharing Joanna!!
ReplyDeleteThere is a one of a kind store in Toronto that sells the work of a glass blowing artist who takes beer bottles and opens the top to form glasses.
ReplyDeleteThey are brilliant and such a nice gift as well for beer lovers.
I bought them as a housewarming.
Here is a link, it is not it exactly but close enough:

Brilliant idea! Last year for Valentine's I got Mac a wallet sized bottle opener and 4 different kinds of crafted beers.
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect gift for that hard-to-shop-for guy. What guy (or girl, for that matter) doesn't love beer??
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome idea! I'm always looking for great guy gift ideas. Thanks for the heads up:)
ReplyDeleteI purchased a subscription to a Beer of the Month club for my husband...he is really enjoying it, and I am a hero :c)
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny. Actually, I might like this too;)
ReplyDeleteThis is great! My husband would love this! He actually makes his own beef jerky so our house smells like meat ALL THE TIME!

The "you're a sissy, bro" option is so offensive and stupid.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the suggestion. I always have trouble finding presents for guys.

World Tour Stories. A couple of lovers sailing around the world.
Believe it or not, my husband hates beer (although he does like beef jerky). Luckily, he likes clothes, so I usually get him shirts, sweaters, and shoes for Christmas and birthdays.
ReplyDeleteSuper idea! As a girl, I'd love to get that in the mail too! Love me some beef jerky...

what a terrific idea!! makes v-day and birthdays and such soooo much easier...
ReplyDeleteoh totally random and off subject, but while watching mike and molly last night, i noticed molly's house they used the green/beige striped and green polka dot wallpaper in it like that was used on the sibiling bedroom post.
Such a genius idea for the dudes in my life. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI love this! Every guy I know is obsessed with Jerky.
ReplyDeleteAs a guy, I always enjoy receiving (and owning) durable, high-quality hard goods. A night out at a restaurant, spa weekend, tickets to a game, etc. are all very fleeting. Clothing wears out — even a leather jacket or something.
ReplyDeleteFellas like to have a good set of tools on hand. A nice 100+ piece set comes in handy, as does a drill with various bits. For electronics, good quality speakers can last decades, even as the technology gets upgraded and improved. A nice chair (office or living room) is great to have, as is a quality desk, for that matter.
Around the kitchen, nothing beats a good knife.
Whatever you get a man as a gift, make sure it outlasts his current pair of running shoes.
The idea is fantastic but you might want to add that it's only for people who live in Manahattan. I've gotten tripped up in that little astrick before.
ReplyDeleteLucky 96th Street and below New Yorkers- bummer for the rest of the us! But what a great, great idea. And that I Love You, Man was a good one (is it bad that I felt an affinity for it because of the characters' love for Rush? I blame that on my older brothers' influence!)
ReplyDeleteWhat movie are those pictures from? This is a really great idea. i am already planning my Christmas list (even though it is not Halloween yet!
ReplyDeleteThis is the first I have seen of this---hilarious and brilliant.
ReplyDeletethis is hilarious, love it.
ReplyDeleteStill laughing :DDDDDD Brilliant idea :DDDDDD
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! Thanks for sharing Joanna!
ReplyDeleteX Mandy
This is a great idea. I would love more manly, but hip, suggestions for Christmas.
ReplyDeletehaha this is brilliant. too bad im not in new york
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome. Too bad we just moved from NYC or I'd be using this all the time! I wonder if DC has something like this....
ReplyDeleteThis is kind of a scam. It's way more than a six pack would cost plus lots of additional costs and they only ship in Manhattan. Just get on the subway and deliver it in person!!
ReplyDeleteGreat gift ideas, I will use this for my boyfriends birthday present this year, thanks!
ReplyDeleteGift Ideas for Men
My husband would go crazy for this kind of gift. Great!
ReplyDeleteWoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow /Hey thanks man!! you are so good. I think this the perfect work.
ReplyDeleteGift Ideas For Man
